Motion to approve the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council of April 25, 2022.

Motion to approve Consent Items 1 to 3 listed on the Agenda.

Motion to enact as follows: a) The City of Cornwall officially declare an Affordable Housing Crisis, acknowledging that the City of Cornwall does not possess the resources to manage this crisis alone; and b) That Administration provide City Council with what it will take to implement more aggressive targets and a framework for action, in order to:  Preserve and increase the affordable housing supply  Increase access to housing affordability  Ensure people are supported to achieve housing stability and long-term housing retention; and c) That Administration be directed to develop a long-range financial plan to meet the targets as set out in the Housing Revitalization Plan; and d) That Council call on the Provincial and Federal governments to assist us by providing the City with long-term financial commitment to meet the needs of the community; and e) That the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute all documents to complete this matter.

Motion to request Administration to prepare a report on the feasibility to strike a Ad Hoc Committee to review the current Medical Scholarship Policy and bring recommendations to Council for an updated policy.

Motion to adopt By-law 2022-056, listed on the Agenda.

Motion to adopt Confirming By-law 2022-057.
