Regular Meeting of Council

Motion to move into a Closed Meeting at 5:00 p.m. to address matters pertaining to Section 239 (2) and (3.1) of the Municipal Act, 2001. A meeting or part of a meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered is: 1. Report 2022-02-IMW - Property Acquisition c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board 2. Report 2022-04-CAO - Termination of Agreement f) advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose k) a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations

Motion to adopt the Agenda as amended.

Motion to approve the recommendations of all Consent Items on the Agenda.

Motion to receive the Unfinished Business Listing for January 24, 2022.

Motion to receive Report 2022-10-PDR as presented and furthermore that the proposed Adequate and Suitable Heat By-Law be approved.

This item was moved from Consent Item #1 for discussion. Motion to proclaim 2022 as the “Year of the Garden” in the city of Cornwall.

Motion to adopt By-laws 2022-008 to 2022-014 inclusive, listed on the Agenda, are being presented to Council for adoption.

Motion to adopt By-law 2022-015, being a By-law to confirm the proedings of the Council of The Corporation of the City of Cornwall at its meetings held on Monday, January 24, 2022.
